Norwood Run
Where: Norwood Bowl Carpark, Osmond Tce, Norwood
When: Every Tuesday Morning, Rain, Hail or Shine, 6.00am sharp.
Starting from the carpark of Norwood Bowl on Osmond Terrace (on the west side, just south of the intersection with Magill Rd); 6am sharp, this group is a social running group with runs ranging out over the Eastern suburbs and North Adelaide. The group is generally 30-60 people running for an hour (10-12km) and includes 3 hr marathoners to back of the pack plodders (who sometimes take shortcuts).
The route is communicated to all gathered runners moments before 6am and is often designed to take in a particular blossoming Jacaranda or some of Adelaide’s abundant parklands. Those who have time meet for coffee at the bakery on the south-west corner of the intersection of Osmond Terrace and The Parade.
